🍫 Chocolate and dogs: beware of danger!

Easter means chocolate… but not for our four-legged friends! 🚨

Chocolate is toxic to dogs, even in small amounts. It contains theobromine, a substance their bodies cannot properly eliminate. Symptoms can appear quickly: restlessness, vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, and in severe cases, seizures.

The darker the chocolate, the more dangerous it is. But milk chocolate and even white chocolate are not risk-free either.

💡 Our tips for this weekend:

• Keep eggs and chocolate bars out of your dogs’ reach
• Explain to children not to share their treats with the dog
• If ingestion occurs, contact your veterinarian immediately
• Instead, offer a special dog treat — they’ll be just as happy! 🐶
